Massage is the process of manipulating the soft tissues of the body to release tension in the musculoskeletal system.

Massage directly effects range of motion and flexibility by releasing the fascia and working out the tight areas in our muscles. Massage has profound psychological benefits as well. Increased circulation to vital organs and the emotional release that occurs along with the physical release of tension can have a significant effect on depression, anxiety and sleeping disorders. Massage is much more than a “pampering” treatment. It is a therapeutic practice that is integral to your optimal health.

The type of massage that’s right for you depends on your needs and goals. Talk to our massage therapists about what is best for you. All of our therapists are trained and experienced in Therapeutic Massage, Swedish/Relaxation Massage, Hot Stone, Deep Tissue and Sports Massage. We also have some therapists that have particular expertise in Thai Massage and some in Prenatal Massage.

Massage therapy can address a range of issues related to the musculoskeletal system, including back pain, neck pain, and discomfort in your joints. Massage can have a positive effect on carpal tunnel and tennis elbow. Massage can help to alleviate headaches and migraines that are associated with excessive tension in the neck as well as reduce the frequency of cramping and spasms in muscles that might lead to misalignments in the back, hips, neck and other joints. Massage is also very effective at reducing stress. Massage has also been shown to have a positive impact on unspecified pain disorders such fibromyalgia. If you are a person going through treatment for cancer, massage can help you manage the pain and discomfort, decrease nausea, help you sleep and generally reduce anxiety that is natural in the cancer treatment process.

Our massage therapists are – well – PHENOMENAL! You can expect a unique massage experience that begins with a conversation to help he or she understand your specific needs and goals. You’ll be encouraged to give immediate feedback on the pressure and intensity of the massage so we can dial-in to your comfort level and needs. Our massage experience is truly exceptional and you need only release, relax and enjoy!
